KPP Foundation
The Foundation was incorporated to be the fundraising partner of Kawartha Participation Projects, which provides support to people with physical disabilities in the four counties of Haliburton, Northumberland, The City of Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough.
KPP provides supportive housing and outreach attendant services at no charge to persons with disabilities as well as rent geared to income accessible, affordable housing. KPP must rely heavily on the Foundation for the necessary funds to assist people with physical disabilities to purchase and repair mobility aids, special equipment, and household items. The Foundation is funded solely through fundraising, special events, donations from corporate and private sectors. It is not funded by the United Way or any Goverment. The Foundation is dedicated to supplying the items necessary to help Persons with Disabilities maintain and enhance as independent a lifestyle as desired
